Asin General Store - Stores selling expired products

One night I went to get * pack of milk from this shop near my place. I checked expiry. It was the same night. I raised concern as the day was ending. Upon hearing the shopkeeper told to put in the fridge it will be ok. I did so. Next morning while boiling it got sour. I went to the shop to complain. She replied that they can't give guarantee about milk. I accept that I shouldn't have bought if I had concerns. What surprised me was she told that all the milk kept outside are from yesterday's expiry only and have not rotten. I confronted them saying that it's wrong to keep expired food. And those milk will get spoiled upon boiling. To which she replied why I bought it then. The store is keeping expired food knowingly which is wrong. I would like concerned authorities to take action against such stores. I accept that consumers are supposed to check expiry but I feel purposely keeping expired food item is like playing with customers' trust. What about customers who come from far and just buy things from such store on the way. They wouldn't go back to argue. And even if they complain they hear things like why didn't they check. why did they buy.
