Sony TV from Reliance Digital Chrompet - Sony TV purchased damaged not replaced

This email is regarding my new Sony LED Television (** inches) which was bought from Reliance Electronics, Chrompet on **.**.****. At the time of purchase we informed the store's person that installation has to be done only after * months, since painting work was going at our home. Reliance officials also accepted for the same and TV was delivered and kept in a safe place.

Last week we called Reliance team to install the same. The installation person opened the seal of the package ,on opening it was found an LCD display in broken condition, we have taken video of the same. The condition was immediately informed to Reliance shop as well as Sony Centre.

We informed Reliance to replace the TV, as we have not used it or opened the seal, only the Reliance people have opened the seal. We have been informed that they will check with Sony Centre and come back.Simultaneously we also informed Sony Centre.

We have been informed by the Sony team that the new TV will not be replaced and the LCD will be changed only on receipt of Rs.**,***/- Payment. We in turn asked them, in this case there is no fault happened from our end, on opening the seal itself the TV was found broken and it is the responsibility of Shop owner or Sony centre to replace the TV.

We have bought the TV, which was paid by us with down payment and monthly EMI is going on.

I request your team to help me out in this issue to bring me best solution by replacing the new TV to us.
