Mi Band 3 - Sold damage product

Hi,
I have purchased a Mi* fitness band from one local shop.
After a few hours of purchase notifications of inbox messages stop to show. On the Second day, the band got hanged. Today third day the band started counting vehicle traveling steps with physical steps. When I went for shopping they told me that Mi* band counts steps even if you are traveling from a vehicle. When I told that *st-day band was only counting physical walking steps. They told me that we don't believe you and said to me to go to the service center. And also told me that they have not received any complaint against the product and I am the only one who is complaining about the product. The shop sold me a damaged product.
