Bodycraft Clinic Sahakarnagar - Skin treatment gone wrong chemical peel

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the Cosmelan treatment I received at Bodycraft clinic on **nd August **** around *:**PM, Sahakarnagar branch.

It had now three weeks post-treatment, and I have not received any proper follow-up as was promised. Every time I reached out with concerns, the responses were casual.

When I visited the clinic extremely worried and distressed, the receptionist was very rude, and the doctor responded casually, attributing my skin issues to hormones. I consulted an independent dermatologist, and it does not appear to be hormonal, particularly given the clogged pores and irritation I am experiencing.

Following this, I was advised to stop using Cosmelan immediately and was given additional products and tablets that I had not requested. This entire situation has caused me significant mental distress.

Clinic visited: BodyCraft Clinic — [Bangalore/Sahakarnagar].

Treatment / product provided: cosmelan peel along with Cosmelan kit and a face wash.

Total amount charged to date approx: ₹**,***(initial ) + ₹**,*** additional products/medication given on [**th sept]

I expressly asked for Cosmelan. At consultation I discussed my skin concerns and time constraints and declined other recommended procedures (microneedling etc.). Post which i was stuck on getting cosmelan itself and was ready to walk away. But they said if you want we can and I’m not professional here so i can ask for anything and they will give it?

Why do we have a professional and a consultation in place if they just go ahead with want I want. I had visted other branches but none of them suggested this. Despite this, I was advised and supplied with Cosmelan (just because I wanted) I was told your team would follow up — they did not.

Since using the product I have suffered persistent adverse skin reactions (severe tingling, multiple clogged/enlarged pores, increased breakouts around the chin, continued irritation despite stopping Cosmelan *). This has caused significant physical and mental distress and is negatively affecting my emotional well-being, especially with my upcoming wedding.

When I visited the clinic in person recently, the receptionist’s behaviour was so rude and so unprofessional and the treating doctor was casual about my worsening condition. I was also recommended and sold additional tablets/creams and billed an extra approx ₹**,*** without proper informed consent or adequate explanation.

After one whole week of following up with me and getting all the pictures of my face post treatment. They finally suggested a rectification for the face and they mentioned it will be free of charge on **th sept.

When I visted another branch (Sadashivanagar) they have me more tablets and another set of creams. I do not see any major difference

But still the mental stress I have gone through the amount of tears I have shed and it has costed me my mental & physical well-being.
I’m in a client facing role and having to go to office with this type of damaged skin is so depressing.

I’m slowly losing out on myself and hate to look at myself in the mirror
