Tasty Nibbles - Silica gel found in food product

I purchased a prawn chutney powder worth Rs. **, a product belonging to the brand "Taste Nibbles", from Palarivattom Bismi hypermarket. The product contained a silica gel packet inside it and it is claimed that the product does not contain any artificial preservatives. I had checked with the hypermarket and they told me silica gel was found in all the items of the same product.
