Subject- 'Complaint regarding Short Settlement and failure to receive claim settlement on mail''
Dear Sir,
I hope this letter find you well. I am writing to express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the recent general insurance claim settlement process with - SHRIRAM GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY. Despite fulfilling all the necessary requirement and substantial evidence supporting of my claim, I have encountered significant difficulties in receiving a fair and just settlement, resulting in a shortage of the agreed amount
To provide you with a brief background -
My Claim No - didn't provided by insurance company

Claim Filled Date - **.**.** (on **.**.** a dumper truck hit my car back side on dicky then left tail lite then left door - One time same impact due to this push my car right fender rubbed by E-Riksha which was on my car right side with less distance). Following the claim submission , an insurance surveyor form at their vendor (M/s Pandit Automobile, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad) so that surveyor can be appointed to determine the appropriate settlement.
My main issue arise from the fact that even after multiple conversation and request, the surveyor (Mr. Lalit/ Mr. Amit) has failed to provide me with a formal claim settlement letter via mail , Mr. Lalit just forward a very short settlement which was/is unacceptable at all from my end. I asked him to provide the same on mail but he didn't. I believe receiving a written confirmation by mail is a circular for my records, as well as for ensuring transparency and accountability in this process. However, despite my continue follow ups and insisting on receiving the documents, I yet to receive any written communication regarding the claim settlement.
Furthermore, the settlement amount offered on whatsapp by surveyor Mr. Lalit has proven to be significantly lower than expected/Actual loss happened. This discrepancy is deeply disheartening and given rise to doubt about the overall fairness and professionalism of the claim handling process.
I have made several attempts to resolve this matter (by call & by whstapp communication) through direct communication with the Surveyor Mr. Lalit / Mr. Amit but unfortunately my concern have not been adequately addressed and I feel that my rights as a policyholder are being neglected. Therefor, I believe is crucial to escalate this matter to your esteemed office , the Ambudsman, for further investigation and assistance.
I kindly request that the Ambudsman's office initiate an investigation into the handling of my claim by SHRIRAM GENERAL INSURANCE CO. Please let me know if any further documentation is required to assist in your investigation.
I hope that through your intervention, a satisfactory resolution will be achieved and justice will be served. I would greatly appreciate biing kept informed regarding the process of this complaint and I trust that your office will take this mateer seriously and act on my behalf.
