Pratima Tripathi filed complaint against Videocon DH on Jul 22, 2019
Post introduction of the new tariff plan by TRAI effective April, I enrolled for a platinum plan with Videocon d*h and additionally subscribed for a few channels ending up paying *** rupees monthly. Until two days back everything looked okay but Discovery was suddenly unsubscribed from my package without any notification inspite of me paying for it. I called customer care yesterday and they did confirm that discovery is a part of my package but the error read E**-* The channel is not subscribed. The representative sent some command and asked me to wait for ** minutes. She also advised to give a call to **** number if the issue is not resolved within ** mins. The *** number was messaged to my inbox. As expected, the issue was unresolved. I called the *** number which is only IVR support which I assume automatically resends the command once you call it. Alas, it did not fix the issue despite multiple attempts. I made a call to customer care and went through the same process again. In the end the representative ended up saying I will take your complaint and send a technician. You will have to pay the service charge to the technician. I refuted since this is kit product issue. I have subscribed for a channel and paying for it without getting to see the channel. The issue is service related and should be managed by you. All the attempt went unheard. I requested the call to be transferred to manager which ultimately got disconnected because that is what the representative threatened to do during my conversation on the issue.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
