I purchased a gas stove manufactured by Stovekraft. I paid ₹*,*** for the product; however, the invoice provided to me reflects a value of only ₹*,***. This discrepancy itself is a matter of concern.
Within the warranty period, the stove developed a gas leak, which is a serious safety hazard and posed a significant risk to my family.
I registered a service complaint with Stovekraft on ** June ****. A technician was assigned, but he neither responded to my calls nor visited my residence for inspection or repair.
After receiving no response, I contacted Stovekraft Customer Care again on ** June ****. I was assured that the matter would be escalated and that I would receive a call from the escalation team within ** hours. However, no one contacted me. I continued to follow up multiple times through customer care and email, but despite repeated assurances, no service was provided.
As the gas leak was a serious safety concern and my family was unable to cook, I had no option but to get the stove repaired at my own expense through a local technician. I was forced to incur repair costs solely because of Stovekraft's failure to provide warranty service within a reasonable time.
The company's negligence resulted in financial loss, repeated follow-ups, wastage of my personal time, mental harassment, and significant inconvenience to my family. Their complete failure to provide warranty support despite numerous opportunities has caused me to lose confidence in the company's after-sales service and warranty commitments.
I request that Stovekraft be directed to:
Refund the actual amount paid (₹*,***) for the gas stove, as the company failed to provide warranty service for a critical safety issue.
Investigate and explain the discrepancy between the actual purchase price (₹*,***) and the invoice value (₹*,***).
Reimburse the repair charges that I incurred.
Award appropriate compensation for the time, inconvenience, mental harassment, and deficiency in service.
