21 GUN SALUTE - SERVICE CHARGE

On **th Oct, i visited this restaurant named as ** Gun Salute in Sec **, Gurgaon with my Family and Friends.
After having our meals, we asked for the bill.
When we received the bill, Service charge @**% of the bill was also added excluding the bill amount
and GST.
As per our information, according to Indian Law, Service charge is an option to pay so We asked the person in charge "Mr. Lakhan" to remove the Service Charge as we not willing to pay it.
On which he demanded the same and said it's the restaurant terms and we have to pay it.
This surely is something against the Law, not abiding it and I was forced to pay it.
I want to bring this into the notice of Government of Haryana and India that the restaurants are forcing people for the Service charges.
I surely need a compensation for this humiliation.
