I am writing to register a grievance against Home Store ** India, regarding my recent purchase of Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra headphones (Order amount: Rs. ****.**). The product was bought online and delivered to me ten days past the promised date, only after multiple email reminders from me to the seller. Upon receipt and unboxing, several discrepancies and omissions were immediately apparent, suggesting that the product was counterfeit-
*. The packaging was different. The box was not sealed like the original Bose gadgets are usually.
*. The Bose headphone cable with a microphone was missing.
*. The instruction leaflet was missing. This directly contradicts Bose’s official kit contents as confirmed by the manufacturer.
*.The product packaging and case were significantly different from the authentic Bose products seen in verified unboxing videos online.
*.The headphones exhibited a different look from the original Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones.
The sound and feel of the headphones were of an inferior quality.
*. The headphones fit very uncomfortably on the ears and the features ( buttons) on the headphones were inconsistent with the genuine Bose specifications.
I attempted to resolve the matter by repeatedly emailing Home Store **; however, I received only generic assurances and no substantive solution. The company failed to provide proper customer service, and after a couple of replies to my complaints, stopped all contact. There were no phone numbers provided on their website to call them directly.
The financial and emotional distress caused is compounded by this lack of accountability. I request a full refund of Rs. ****.** and appropriate action against the seller for fraudulent online trading. I have retained payment receipts, photographs of the product, breached packaging, and all email correspondence, which I am prepared to submit as evidence.
I urge you to initiate redressal proceedings, ensure the removal of such counterfeit listings, and direct Home Store ** to compensate for the monetary loss and inconvenience.
