Happenstance Global Private Limited - Return not acknowledged

I ordered a pair of sandals which once delivered, were not as per my expectations die to difference in quality as described on the website. I tried the product and packed it back within ** minutes and raised a return request the same day within * hours of delivery and it was picked up the next day. The customer support team of Happenstance rejected the return saying that the product is used. How can a sandal be used if it is just tried once that too in a clean room and put for return the very same day. The customer team doesn’t reply to emails and directly ships the product back.
