Sandeep Bhingardive filed complaint against Go Vacation Trips on Jun 13, 2025
Incident Summary:
On February **, ****, I booked a * Nights / * Days Kashmir tour package scheduled to begin on April *, ****, by paying an advance of ₹**,***. From Shimala based "Go Vacation Trips".
The booking was managed by the company’s executive, Mr. Amit Negi and Apranjal Thakur, who assured me that accommodation would be provided at Hotel Mallard, and that GST charges were included in the package.
Despite multiple confirmations, I was later informed that Hotel Mallard was unavailable due to being sold out — directly contradicting earlier guarantees.
After the advance payment, Mr. Thakur denied having included GST and demanded an additional *% GST, which was never agreed upon in prior discussions. After this he said to pay *.*% GST.
In good faith, I still agreed to continue the trip. However, just seven days before departure, the company unilaterally cancelled the trip, citing an inability to confirm accommodations.
Since then, the company has refused to refund the advance amount and instead offered a non-transferable travel credit valid for one year, which I find unacceptable and untrustworthy given their unethical conduct.
Furthermore, they have become unresponsive to all communication, displaying a complete lack of accountability and customer service.
I already filed complaint to NCH and Tourism Dept, Shimla, but the company not responding to their emails aslo.

I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
