mi note 7 pro - Repair service not done

My MI Note * Pro *gb variant mobile phone got water damage. I know that it does not include warranty terms but I wanted my phone to be repaired with the charge. I don't need any free cost service but the thing I faced there was they gave me a total bill of ₹***** which is more than the cost of my phone which is ₹*****. I have attached the picture of the bill they gave and then I went to my nearby mobile repair shop which is not authorised but reliable for local people. The thing he told me was shocking. He said service centre don't even repair anyone's phone they only change the parts and for repair purpose, they came to him and charge extra money. Sometimes service centres change your working parts with the broken ones if you tell them that you don't want to repair it from them and at last he told me it was just my ic got some water damage.
He repaired it only for **** Rs and gave me my phone with the same working condition and told me that it wasn't a big problem. The thing was they wanted to charge extra money and isn't it sound foolish that repairing cost of some parts of your device charges you more than the cost of the device. Worst experience from Mi service centre.
