Wockhardt Superspeciality Hospital - Registration charges imposed on patients

Went to Wockhardt hospital Mira Rd. On the *th of August ****. With my dad who required to take a tetanus shot. After giving my dad the injection the billing counter personnel informs me that I have to pay ***/rs for the shot n ***/rs for registration since he has come for the first time. I mentioned he's not a patient, am not here to see a doctor. And on what grounds are registration fees charged. The answer given was that every patient who comes to Wockhardt hospital for the first time is charged registration fees of *** rs and it's mandate. When I threatened that I will go to the highest authority about this overcharging and robbing in broad daylight, and I would put this up on fb, twitter n instagram, then the billing person spoke to the manager and charged me *** rs for the injection stating he is giving me a discount of *** rs registration. I said that I don't owe him any registration n there are no favours done here and walked out with my bill. But this is a cause I want to fight for. Imagine how many innocent ignorant poor people are getting looted everyday in the name of registration by such private hospitals. I strongly feel that this is criminal behaviour and hospitals are outwardly commercialised and care two hoots about humanity and service towards mankind.
