Maruti Suzuki True Value Kothari Wheels Pune - Regarding flood affected vehicle insurance claim chiplun

Respected Sir,
On **th January ****, I purchased second hand car Maruti Suzuki Celerio (VXI Optional CNG) from Kothari Wheels Akurdi Pune. During purchasing period, they assured us that the car has * years comprehensive insurance till **th July **** also they gave us delivery note (on *** Rs Stamp Paper) of vehicle. It is mentioned in the delivery note (***rs Stamp Paper) that "YOUR VEHICLE HAS COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE TILL **TH JULY ****". But actually, insurance copy shows that my vehicle has only * year (comprehensive insurance up to **th July ****) +* years (further Third-Party Insurance up to **th July ****).
On ** July **** our city Chiplun came under flood crisis due to which my car remains in flood water for * day. When I went to Jagrut Maruti Service Center in Chiplun for repairing of vehicle under Insurance they refused to claim insurance since my car was having insurance cover under Third Party insurance policy.
So, please guide us in this issue!
