Description of Grievance:
When I purchased this mobile phone, Samsung had promised * years of OS updates. However, I have received only * OS updates after purchase. After the June security update this year, my phone’s display suddenly turned completely white, as shown in the attached photo. I visited the Samsung Customer Care centre, but they refused service saying there is a small green-coloured dent on the screen, and due to this, they cannot repair it.

This is not acceptable because the screen problem occurred only after the official Samsung update. This issue is widely reported by Samsung S** Ultra and S** Ultra users after recent security updates. The small dent on my screen is not related to this issue; the damage was caused by Samsung’s own update. I purchased this phone for over ₹* lakh, and I am facing great inconvenience.

I am serving in the CRPF and have very limited leave. This screen problem has caused me a lot of mental stress. At my duty location, there is no mobile shop or service centre. I gave my phone for service at Samsung Service Centre, Palakkad, during my leave, but they denied service. They admitted that this is a known issue after the update but still refused to repair it due to the dent.

I request that justice be done in my case. Either Samsung should replace my phone’s display free of cost or refund the full purchase amount. I have the purchase invoice as proof. I kindly request you to investigate my grievance and take necessary action.
