I have purchased Pixel * xl from Flipkart, just after few days I have observed issue visible at low brightness commonly called as black smearing. So, I made call to Google support team and raised a case.After this their Indian service provider B*X called me and picked the device for service factory and gave loaner device. After few days they send back the device to me and refuses to accept the issue and mentioned it as Youtube bug(please find attachment as evidence). I have to escalate the case and then they accepted the issue and gave replacement having same issue. I called Google and again they told me follow same procedure i.e send device to service factory keep loaner device which is really pathetic.
In September, I was suffering from another issue in device called as screen burning where a image keep showing on display even after changing background.
So, I made call to Google and describe both screen burning and black smearing issue.
Field technician picked my device and display is replaced but I can still see the Black smearing issue. So, again called the Google to fix this and again I need to handover the device to B*X. Now they refuses to accept the issue and and told me that device is alright. So, again made call to Google regarding this issue and ask them to give replacement or refund but they are telling me that Black smear effect is inherited
proper of OLED displace and they don't offer replacement which is violation of what they have mentioned on https://support.google.com/store/troubleshooter/*******?hl=en-IN&ref_topic=*******#ts=*******%*C******* i.e. "EXCLUSIVE REMEDY: If a defect arises and you return your Phone during the two year Limited Warranty period, Google will at its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by law either repair your Phone using new or refurbished parts, replace your Phone with a new or refurbished Phone functionally at least equivalent to yours or accept the return of the Phone in exchange for a refund of the purchase price you paid for the Phone."
I didn't paid such a huge amount(***** INR) for a device having display issue which is according to them is inherited property and they can't do anything for it.
I don't need this phone anymore. I need full refund for it.
