Mysore Elite Hotel - Refusal to Process Refund Despite Stated Cancellation Policy Mysore Elite Hotel

I booked a room at Mysore Elite Hotel (Reservation No: R-****-**-**) with a check-in date of **-**-****. The hotel’s own cancellation policy, as displayed on their official website and on the booking confirmation voucher, clearly states:
“***% refund will be made on all cancellations received ** hours prior to check-in time and date. Any cancellation made within ** hours ***% cancellation charges will be applied.”
My booking was cancelled more than ** hours prior to check-in, fulfilling the conditions for a full refund. However, the hotel has refused to issue a refund, contradicting their own stated terms.
Despite providing them with the official policy and voucher terms, they continue to deny the refund, claiming the booking was “non-refundable” without any such condition being agreed to in writing or mentioned in the confirmation.
This refusal is a clear violation of the Consumer Protection Act, ****, as it amounts to unfair trade practice and breach of contract. I request immediate intervention to ensure the refund of ₹*,*** (advance payment) and to take necessary action against the hotel for misleading policies.
