I am writing regarding my movie booking at INOX Metro, *, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Kolkata – ******, with the following details:
Booking ID: T*A*GEC
Ticket ID: T*A*GEC
Track ID: ***************
Movie: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle
Language (Booked): Japanese with English subtitles
Event Date & Time: Sunday, September **th, ****, *:** PM – **:** PM
Seats: E* and E* (Screen *)
Payment Mode: UPI – ₹***.**
Booking Date & Time: Thu, ** Sep ****, **:** AM
UPI Transaction ID: ************
When I reached the theatre to scan my ticket, it was not showing up in their system. When I was asked, the manager told me that all tickets booked on September **th had been cancelled due to a last-minute schedule change. He mentioned that the movie would now be screened in English and Hindi audio instead of the originally scheduled Japanese audio with English subtitles.
I was also told that refunds were initiated but may be delayed due to the weekend. However, as of now, I have not received any refund or official communication regarding this cancellation.
I kindly request you to:
Confirm the cancellation of my booking.
Please process and refund the full amount of ₹***.** to my UPI account as soon as possible.
Provide clarification on why no prior notification was sent regarding the cancellation/change.
