Amity University Kolkata - Refund of Security Deposit

My husband was a student of Amity University Kolkata. They take security deposit of Rs. *****. We went to claim our deposit many times after completion of education along with BBA completion certificate. However every time they used to come up new bullshit reasons like teacher is absent, exams going on, teachers are busy, amity delhi will decide and is taking time. Now when I enquired after few years they are saying they have forfeited the money and could not return it. Also they are coming up with excuses like management has changed and the are not aware of anything now
