Dear Voxya Team,
I am at my wits end to get refund from goibibo on the flight tickets cancelled due to Covid** cancellation.
PNR/Booking Ref.: JWMHUH. IndiGo Fight dated **th May **** from Kolkata to Varanasi (COVID** Cancellation).
PNR/Booking Ref.: YRLRS. AirIndia Flight dated **th May **** from Dharamshala to Kolkata via stopover at New Delhi (COVID** Cancellation).
In spite of requesting goibibo to initiate refund on the above mentioned cancelled tickets goibibo has not initiated any refund. Currently, one connot even reach goibibo either over phone (as their IVR states that only currently valid flight tickets are their priority), over their website www.goibibo.com/support. When I click on "I want to know my refund status" >> Refund Detail >> it says "Refund info for the requested transactionid is not available."
Moreover yesterday, i.e. **th July, ****, I received an SMS from IndiGo stating that IndiGo has processed my refund request under PNR JWMHUH and I should get in touch with my booking agent to claim the refund amount. See the exact details of the SMS message below:
From VK-IndiGo **th July, ****, **:** PM IST.
"IndiGo: Dear *E customer, we have processed your request under PNR JWMHUH. Kindly contact your booking agent to claim the refund amount (if any). For any assistance, you may call us at ****-*******."
I would really appreciate if you could please take up this with the appropriate agencies and help me get my refund for both PNR/Booking Ref.: JWMHUH and YRLRS.
