GD Goenka High School Sohna - Refund not received as committed

This is in relation with one of CBSE Affiliated schools namely GD Goenka High School (Affiliation No. - ******) situated at Sector-*, Sohna, Gurugram That I had approached the school in Dec'** in view of seeking information regarding the admission of my kids namely Ishika Joshi & Shivika Joshi towards the academic session ****-** .That upon a preliminary level of discussion with the admission counsellor, I was informed of the fee structure and other related aspects in terms of completing the admission formalities where when I told them that I would need sometime to arrange for such huge amount of sum to be deposited for the completion of the admission. That while I had expressed my intention to have my kids admitted into the said school; the then admission counsellor asked to deposit a token amount of **,***/- towards blocking the seat else the seat won't be made available. In view of the aforesaid conversation, I was forced to deposit the said token amount in light of securing the seats. No prior information was given regarding the non-refundable amount. However, while I was in the middle of making the necessary arrangements; I came across a personal difficulty where I was forced to withdraw this amount as amidst all the personal difficulties it won't be possible for me to bear such expenses to pursue with my kids' education in the said school. That is when I had formally written to them an email withdrawing the consent to pursue with the further admission procedures and requested the school to process the refund subject to reasonable deductions, if applicable. While I had raised this request of refund, since then I have been ignored altogether and the management is not willing to entertain my request. That after repetitive follow-ups I was surprisingly informed that this money won't be refunded even if I withdraw the application and not even a single penny be returned to me. The new session was not started, I have not bought the books & uniforms & even not attended the Orientation Program. They do not have a reasonable rationale towards denying the refund to me and have only been referring to their so called policy which is merely a piece of paper where they are seeking my attention to note that any such amount would be non-refundable under any circumstances.

I have been following them for a very long time, made a lot of calls, a lot of emails but neither the calls are getting responded nor the emails, which is nothing but a complete mental harassment to me. Then I have sent the mail to CBSE cc to GD Goenka management on **th Apr'**. Within ** hours of this mail, I got a call from Admission-Director Mr. Tarun Dutta. Initially he offered me **% refund of the total amount which I rejected. Then again he called me on *th May & proposed the refund of Rs. *****. He said this has been approved by management. I accepted this proposal. Mr. Tarun said that the refund amount will be given to me either by Cheque or by NEFT within ** days. I have the call recording also for same. When I didn't get my refund till **th May, then again I tried to contact Mr. Tarun but since then he stopped picking my calls & stopped responding my mails & messages. Then I visited the school & met with Mr. Tarun Dutta. He clearly refused for the refund this time. When I enquired that the refund was approved by management earlier then he said now management is refusing for the same. Since then I have been just following up day & night but not getting any response. Even not getting any revert from CBSE too.
Request you to please help to get the refund as I have been going through lots of stress & harassment.
