JAIN Deemed to be University Centre for Distance and Online Education - Refund not provided after admission cancellation

I paid ₹**,*** as admission fees to Jain University. I formally cancelled my admission on **/**/****, well before the commencement of classes. As per applicable University Grants Commission guidelines, I am entitled to a refund.
Despite repeated follow-ups and sufficient time having elapsed, the university has failed to process my refund or provide any valid justification for the delay. This conduct is arbitrary, negligent, and constitutes clear deficiency in service as well as an unfair practice.
The continued withholding of my money without lawful reason is unacceptable and reflects a disregard for regulatory norms and student rights.
I hereby demand immediate refund of ₹**,***. Failing this, I will initiate formal proceedings before the appropriate consumer forum without further notice and will seek full refund along with interest, compensation for mental harassment, and litigation costs.
