I placed an order on ** February **** from Swiggy Instamart for the product Apple Fast Charging *m Type-C to Lightning Cable with Order ID #***************. The product delivered to me was defective, appeared used, and was not in proper original condition. I raised a return request on the same day, which was approved by the company, and the item was picked up by the delivery executive after inspection and photo verification. I was informed by the customer support team that my refund would be processed via NEFT within * days after successful return pickup. After the completion of * days, no refund was received, and upon contacting support again, I was asked to wait an additional ** hours. Even after waiting for the additional time, the refund was not credited to my account. Later, the support team asked me to provide my bank statement as proof that the refund was not received, which I have already provided through email. The company has acknowledged the delay and apologized, but despite multiple follow-ups, the refund amount has still not been credited to my bank account. Also, the chat support option for the order has been closed, and I am unable to raise further support requests from the application. This unnecessary delay, false assurances, and failure to process refund even after completing all required formalities clearly amount to deficiency in service and unfair trade practice under the Consumer Protection Act, ****. I request that necessary action be taken against the company and my refund be processed at the earliest along with appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and mental harassment caused.
