Airtel Broadband - Refund for a nonfunctional Airtel Broadband connection DSL

Karthik Sridharan filed complaint against Airtel Broadband on Dec 29, 2021

Issue*: I have requested for an Airtel connection (* months plan) on the **th of October **** and the technician wrongly installed the router for a monthly plan. I immediately asked the technician to replace the monthly connection with a half-yearly plan for which he replaced with the * months plan with a different router/wiring and has taken back the infrastructure (wiring+router) for the one installed for the monthly plan. I have been charged for the monthly plan incorrectly though the infrastructure and wiring was taken back by the technician where he failed to deactivate the plan.

Issue *: Since the broadband is linked with my Mobile Postpaid (Mobile No. - +**-**********) - when I am paying my mobile postpaid bill (Rs.***), the money paid is getting split automatically by paying half of the amount for the Broadband (Rs.***.**) and the other half for the postpaid (Rs.***.**).

Request you to do the needful at the earliest to terminate the Airtel Broadband (************_kk / DSL: ***********) connection at free of cost and get the refund/adjustment of Rs.***.** which was paid for the broadband when attempted to pay the postpaid bill.
