Esprit - Received a damage product

I purchased an Esprit watch from Myntra which I got on a discounted price of Rs.****. I received the watch within a week but the battery wasn't working as mentioned on the Myntra site the watch could only be returned and not exchanged. I requested for a refund. But the Myntra customer service isn't willing to understand that the watch is defective. They are just trying to impose the defective watch on me saying that it passed all their quality check while delivering. Why should I believe the person who was inspecting the quality did it properly. I received a damaged product. Neither they are providing a solution nor returning. All I am.left is with the damaged watch.
