Prakash R Radha filed complaint against RBL BANK CREDIT CARD DIAL FOR CASH on Aug 1, 2025
RBL Bank wrongly upgraded my credit card without my consent and dispatched it to my old address. I never received the card and don’t even know the full card number. Meanwhile, I made two EMI payments via the RBL app (₹*,***.** each), but the money was credited to the credit card account instead of the loan. Now, ₹**,***.** is stuck in a card I cannot use.
Despite repeated emails, proof of payments, and follow-ups, the issue is unresolved. The due date is approaching and the bank is threatening penalties even though the mistake is on their side.
They falsely claimed to have contacted a number ending in XX**, which isn’t mine. My registered number is **********, active for over ** years. All notifications are received on this number, so their excuse is misleading.
This is mental harassment, financial blockage, and a complete failure of basic customer service. I demand:
• Immediate adjustment of the ₹**,***.** towards my active STPL loan
• No penalty or late fee imposed
• Cancellation of the unwanted credit card and refund if not usable
