Subject: Complaint Against Rapido Captain for Abusive and Unparliamentary Language



Dear Sir/Madam,



I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against a Rapido bike captain regarding serious misconduct and use of abusive language during a phone call on **-**-****.



On the said date, I attempted to book a Rapido bike from Ravi Subbarao Street to Khallel Bhai Biryani Point. Due to the app showing a long booking time, I cancelled the ride and attempted to rebook. As I was unsure whether the booking was confirmed and was in a hurry to attend an office meeting, I asked my colleague to pick me up.



Later, I checked the Rapido app and noticed that one ride had been booked and subsequently cancelled, for which a cancellation charge was applied.



After this, I received a call from a person claiming to be the Rapido captain. I clearly informed him that the ride was cancelled and requested him to check the app. However, instead of responding professionally, he used highly offensive and unparliamentary Telugu language, including words such as “lanjodka” and “erripuka”, continuously for approximately ** seconds. Due to the harassment, I was forced to disconnect the call.



Such behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and mentally distressing, especially when customers are under work pressure. I expect Rapido captains to maintain basic decency and professionalism.

I request Rapido to:

Conduct a strict investigation into this incident

Take appropriate disciplinary action against the captain
