Ujjaini Roy filed complaint against Propurban on Feb 25, 2019
I have rented an apartment through propurban on **th Dec ****. Before signing the agreement I asked if I can install my ac as there was no ac plug point and no infrastructure to put the outdoor unit on the *nd floor. They said no problem, they will get it done and did not give me any written confirmation. Soon after I moved in, they started delaying the process saying they have to take permission from owner and builder. Later they said that the ac plug point has to do by me. Due to all the delays, I refused to pay the rent for February. Finally, after a lot of complaints and emails, they installed the plug point but said I have to arrange for scaffolding to get the outdoor unit installed on the *nd-floor window for which they did not even provide me with any vendor or contact. I have made it clear that the rent will be paid only after the work is completed. Now they are saying as there is no written confirmation, they will terminate the contract. They even refused to deduct the rent and late penalty from the security deposit. They have also not given me any written guarantee that the deposit will be returned when I vacate.
There are issues with power back-up not provided as promised as well. Attached are all of my email conversation with Propurban.
