I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Edwins Art of Driving for the extremely not rendering the promised services, unprofessional, unethical, and harassing experience I have endured after making full advance payments for your driving training services.
On April *, ****, I paid you INR **,***, followed by a second payment of INR **,*** on April **, ****, totaling INR **,***. He sent an email with the terms and conditions on **th April, **** at **:** hours, ie. After taking our money he sent extra terms which were not made clear to us on day *. This amount was paid in full based on your explicit assurance that:
You would provide world-class trainers to train both myself and my husband.
Training would be done in our personal vehicle.
There would be six sessions, over six days, each consisting of at least * hours total.
Doorstep pick-up and drop-off would be provided for all sessions.
A pre-training car inspection would be conducted to ensure safety, as stated on your website.
At the end of the * days sessions you will get us the final drivers license.
What followed was a complete departure from your promises and an experience filled with harassment, delays, and coercion.
Day * (April **): Your trainer Praveen showed up an hour late and, after inspecting our vehicle, confirmed it was fit for training. We successfully completed day * of training with him.
Day *: You came personally, stating the trainer had absconded and was not answering your calls anymore. You drove our car till the training venue without any complaints about the car. During this session, you ran the AC continuously, and later claimed our AC was not functioning, using this as an excuse to refuse further training. We have whatsapp chat to confirm the same. You also falsely alleged issues with our car's clutch and tried to coerce us into visiting your preferred garage, threatening to discontinue the sessions and withhold a refund if we didn’t comply.
Despite our attempts to find a middle ground and continue the sessions using your vehicle, you demanded exorbitant fuel charges of INR **,*** for the balance * days of session and also refused the previously promised pick-up and drop-off.
Throughout this ordeal, you engaged in rude, intimidating, and bullying behavior, making the experience mentally taxing and unreasonably stressful.
As of today, only two sessions have been partially conducted, and the remaining four sessions remain undelivered. You have not only breached every commitment you made but have also shown complete disregard for professionalism and basic decency. Your actions amount to fraudulent misrepresentation and harassment, and I have every intention of escalating this if a resolution is not promptly provided.
I hereby demand an immediate refund of INR **,***, which corresponds to the unprovided services (* sessions, pick-and-drop, use of personal car, and associated charges).
If I do not receive a full refund or a satisfactory response, I will pursue other available options.
