Bharat Mathi filed complaint against BigBasket on Feb 26, 2021
My name is Bharat. I'm a resident of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. I have met with an accident and was physically disabled for two years as my left leg is critically injured. I have also incured DVT an emergency medical condition during the long treatment. However, I have recovered to some extent and moving out with great difficulty which only I know.
I have ordered some provisions through BigBasket day before yesterday as my provisions were depleted. I have been given a slot yesterday that is on **th Feb between * pm to ** pm. Since I was running low on provisions, I have opted the slot as I could get the provisions in time.
But the delivery executive called me and as I was in church attending Lent days service. As I was unable to pick up the call, he straight away cancelled by delivery. I contacted the customer care and they seems to be least bothered about the issue till now. They are continually saying that they will escalate the call.
As a result of this, I had to make myself move to the market for the provisions in this pandemic situation and my leg has swollen. I had to face much bitter difficulty which only I could understand. Later, they simply dropped the provisions at my residence and went away.
I simply feel pathetic and unjustified with their behaviour.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
