On today morning, i.e. **.**.**, I approached Trivago website for booking a room at Patiala (India) for **-**.**.**. Thereafter, on being prompted to Agoda, I booked a room in Hotel Narain Continental, Patiala(India), by pre paying Rs. *,***/- through debit Card payment. Confirmation Email was sent by no-reply@agoda.com to my email. Thereafter, after travelling approx *** km, when I reached above hotel on**.**.** for check-in,reported to the hotel reception counter, told them about my prepaid confirmed room booking, the hotel staff repeatedly checked their records/emails etc. and categorically denied having got any such booking confirmation from agoda/trivago etc. Then I frantically searched for any helpline / contact number of agoda, but they do not provide any such thing anywhere.
This lapse on website's part has caused extreme discomfort and mental agony to me and my family. My travel plan got completely disrupted as well.
As such, it is earnestly requested that such mental stress and discomfort notwithstanding, full amount INR *,***/- so prepaid by me should immediately be refund to me.
