I stayed at The Lalit Mumbai from ** September **** to ** September **** after booking a Lalit Executive Suite through MakeMyTrip (Booking ID: NH**************).
Upon check-in, I found the bathtub in my suite to be unhygienic, containing hair and other foreign particles. I immediately reported the issue to the Front Desk. However, instead of proper sanitization or any meaningful corrective action, the Housekeeping Manager merely removed the visible particles. Such a hygiene lapse is unacceptable for a five-star luxury hotel.
On the day of checkout, I was wrongly accused by the Front Desk of taking face towels and hand towels. The towels were later found inside a drawer in the room, yet no apology was offered for the false allegation and the humiliation caused.
Despite repeatedly escalating the matter to the hotel management over several months, I did not receive any satisfactory resolution. I have since approached the CEO of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, who has initiated an internal investigation.
