TL;DR;
I am a PMPL Broadband user in Kolkata. Suffering from their inability to provide a good connection & also restricting other ISP in the area to provide connection to me.
It's been * months that I have raised complaints after complaints.
Whenever you try to speak with anyone no one will be there to listen to your problems. In this COVID time also they are showing minimum responsibility. When my call's recieved, the local technician behaves like he is the customer & I am his service provider. He is useless.
He asks all shorts of questions as if I know where the exact issue is.
This pathetic service has proved costly for me as I am WFH.
From monetary side also, it's not cheap. I have to pay Rs. ***+ to get the connection & they took Rs. **** to install the connection.
Since * months I am handling this shitty connection, as they won't allow other operator in my area to provide service to me.
At my home children are there for whom classes are also now online.
Tutions online.
JIOFY will be too much expensive for the data that is required daily.
PMPL does not recieve a call on their helpline no.
It's deliberately kept like that. In google I can see people from kolkata also are posting reviews of the same kind.
Right now I am really frustrated & feeling helpless.
Not knowing what to do I am writing this.
Incase someone knows /provide something that can be done about this ISP.
It's really taking a toll to my work & our children's education.
