Nios board - Payment deducted but status showing failed

I paid my brother's admission fees for senior secondary course for a sum of ₹****, the payment was successful and money got deducted from my bank account. But NIOS board regional centre staff said that the payment hasn't been received by them, although the admission status there is still pending showing and written the payment failed. I tried contacting bank immediately and made a complaint regarding this, but till now, no resolution has been made.
