V R Mall - Parking at VR mall Surat

This is to bring to your notice that the staff and security at VR mall Surat do not let the customers park their cars in the underground as well as gated parking even though the parking slot is empty. They insist that the visitors of the mall park in the grounds around the mall area. We have experienced this on several occasions and today we decided to actually click photographs of the empty parking. We are utterly baffled as to this type of policy of the mall.
This happened on a dull Monday at around *.** pm when the mall was almost empty. If it is a busy weekend we fully understand the situation. But this is truly baffling. Let me enumerate the problems with parking outside.

A host of anti-social elements are roaming around on motorcycles waiting for the opportunity to eve tease or snatch purses, mobiles etc. I had such an experience wherein my purse with my iPhone **, another iPhone *s and about ***** cash and * credit /debit cards and adhaar card was snatched. As I was walking from the designated out-of mall parking with my **-year-old child. This happened on July ****. I have the copy of the FIR as well. When I had approached the mall authorities with the police we found that there are no night vision cameras around the mall. When I iterated this incident to the mall staff today they said that no such incidents have happened. So are they implying that I am lying? I can send you a copy of the police complaint if you wish along with the newspaper coverage about the incident.
*. The second issue- In the rainy season the grounds are full of muck where we have to park and we end up spoiling our footwear, clothes and in case of heavy rains also get wet. We were thoroughly confused as to such behaviour of the mall authorities.
Upon further thought, we have come to the conclusion that the staff at the mall are definitely making a commission from the private parking spaces outside the mall otherwise what is the logic of not allowing the people to park in the mall parking even when it is empty. We request immediate redressal of this problem.
