Atul Bakery Bharuch - Palm oil Usagae Casuing throat Pain in product sold at Atul Bakery

On **th August ****, I purchased Choco Lava Cake from Atul Bakery, Kasak Road, Bharuch. I have purchased the same product earlier as well.

After consuming the product at night, I experienced throat pain the very next day. This discomfort raises serious doubts about the quality and safety of the ingredients used.

On inspection of the product, I noticed that it contains palmolein oil, and even observed oil separating from the cake. This clearly indicates poor-quality preparation and use of cheap ingredients.

I raised a complaint directly with Atul Bakery through WhatsApp/email and requested a complaint reference number. However, despite multiple follow-ups, no complaint number has been provided. I only received generic replies justifying the use of palm oil.

It is also concerning that recently one of Atul Bakery’s branches was reportedly found selling expired products, which further erodes customer trust in the brand’s safety and quality controls.

Customers are charged a premium price for Atul Bakery products, but the use of cheap palm oil and compromised quality amounts to unfair trade practice and health risk.

I demand to replace palmolein (palm) oil with butter or any healthy oil.
