Nobroker in - Painting service Not completed

I have placed an order for painting of house to be rented, on *th june **** vide ID No. HS-******* on Nobroker.in for a quotation amount of Rs.*****/-. Credited Rs. ****/- to the account. The painting was done on *th june ****. The painter refused to paint the ceiling giving the reason that is not part of the quotation. After completion of painting at that night I received the email to pay the balance of Rs.****/-

Next day I contacted them over the phone and explained in detail and also told them that the paint used is of substandard, as spiders and lizards found on the walls and painters left garbage at the centre of the room/ hall/ kitchen. Later I received the email stating that charges for painting of ceiling are deducted and to pay Rs. ****/- . As the calculation was wrong, I have given him the correct calculation and the balance amount to pay is reduced to Rs. ****. I refused to pay that amount as I have spent more than that to clean. Nobroker.in persisted to pay.

Finally they sent some photographs, stating that the photographs were taken after the painting was done. I was astonished, none of the Nobroker.in personnel came to my house after the painting was done. They might have come without our permission. We are senior citizens. For our safety we have installed CCTV cameras in the building.

And Our old tenant lost the main door key. How did Nobroker.in get the key? We do not know.

Later one person, in search of a house for rent, came and told us my phone number was given by Nobroker.in. We treated him as any other ‘would be tenant’. He did not accept our offer. Initially we did not suspect anything. Later after the day it is flashed that Nobroker gives the phone number of the house owner, if the house owner becomes a member of the scheme, to house hunters. I am not a member of any Nobroker scheme. So the person who came from Nobroker noted the location of my house to take some action if any required.

Now we are living with fear. We do not know what to do.
