Megamartelectlimited - Package not delivered

On **th March ****, I viewed an ad “XIAOMI MI Drone with *K Camera” price mentioned was Rs. *****/- on OLX.IN website. I approached the seller on chat and he responded with a request to come on WhatsApp. His WhatApp No. is +** ***** *****. He posed as if he is Indian from Punjab named Simranjeet Singh, Marketing Manager and showed me a picture of himself holding an Aadhar Card No. **** **** ****.

He told that his address is **, SGK Tower, Opp. Passport Office, Near Income Tax Chowk, Amritsar, Punjab ******, India. He told me that the product will reach in * days time, it is brand new with Warranty & ** days return policy.

He then disclosed that their company has a website at https://www.megamartelectlimited.com and I visited the website I found that the website is for the USA and I told him the same. He said that sometimes they ship from there.

I found that the price on the site www.megamartelectlimited.com was Rs. *****/- I told him that the price is high on the website. Immediately he changed the price to Rs. **,***/- and told me that the price was old & I can check again. This time the price was changed to Rs. **,***/-. It gave me the confidence that the person is genuine & he has a proper website and control. I proceeded to make payment from his website but there was only direct payment facility. I made the money transfer as spoken via Online NEFT Bank transfer.

For another day, I had no response from him. The next day when I insisted he confirmed on mail regarding receipt of the payment of Rs. *****-. He then provided me tracking information of some never heard courier service as https://skylogexpress.com/shipment-tracking/
With a Tracking ID:  SkyLogexpress********

Now after two days, he sent a mail stating that the product is seized by Indian Customs & I have to pay a duty of Rs. *****/- for clearance and you have only *hrs to get the amount paid. I told that it was his responsibility to provide me with the product at the said price. Hence, this is his lookout. I never knew that the shipment was to be from outside India directly to me.

I believe both the websites
https://www.megamartelectlimited.com and
https://skylogexpress.com/shipment-tracking
are fake and I have been fooled by this person who’s accent is that of some foreigner & he speaks only English and does not know a word of Hindi. But surely, he has an accomplice in India without whom he cannot dare rob people like this. If you check his WhatsApp ID he has Indian Flag as his DP Image. He is making a mockery of Indians, should be sent behind bars & dealt with strictly.
I asked him for a refund but he is not willing to pay. Kindly let me know if you can help me anyway to get my money back. I have the complete Whatsapp chat and proof of payment with me.
