Megha filed complaint against Dear Sir Madam I am writing to you to raise an issue about Cab The issue that I have experienced was on Dec 16, 2021
I left a package which contained dry fruits, a leather jacket and a silk saree. According to the driver, he reached the destination and handed over the package to a man standing there and left the location. On questioning the driver about the whereabouts of my package he said that he has delivered it and is not responsible for its loss. However, he shouldn't have delivered the package to anyone standing at the location without confirming of the identity of the person. On requesting him to reach the location and identify the person to whom he delivered, he simply denied on the note that his job is done and it is not his lookout. But how did he responsibly complete his job when he didn't deliver it to the authorised recipient!
When I contacted the customer care, to my utter disappointment, they simply brushed it off saying they are not responsible for the loss of an item by their driver partners and asked me to trace the receiver. Honestly, if not the ola cab authority, then who is suppose to take the responsibility of their driver partners who are actually representing the ola cabs. I didn't send the package on the goodwill of driver but it was the trust on ola cabs and if they don't take the responsibility of it then why will one use ola?
It is highly shameful to experience such an unprofessional and unethical behaviour at such a high platform. Forget about compensation, they are not even ready to help me out even when it was their fault.
