I had to pay an extra cash amount of Rs. ** as toll fee because driver insisted that tolls are not included in fare of pool taxi.
My bill amount was supposed to be Rs. ***, but I had to pay Rs. ***
Driver said that toll is not included in the bill. When I refuted, he asked me to show on app. The app is badly designed and no-where did I find it written that toll is included (not even in receipt) - I have attached photo of same. UBER CLAIMS THAT TOLLS ARE INCLUDED BUT IT DOES NOT SHOW ANYWHERE ON APP
On contacting uber support they claimed that this payment was outside the ambit of Uber (THEY DENIED THAT DRIVER IS AN EMPLOYEE OF UBER). This is a highly fraudulent practice.
Uber has taken * days to take up the issue with the driver, but I have not received any refund yet
