Our Android app was banned on account of content-rating questionnaire responses and then we appealed to the Google Play Store reviewers team.
They gave us one actionable feedback to add the "Report" option on users as well as user-generated-content(UGC). Acting on that feedback we added the "Report" option on users and UGC.
They however also asked to retake app-content-rating questionnaires and we retook that questionnaire multiple times accurately. However they still rejected our questionnaire responses and rejected our appeal, leaving our app banned.
Their response does not specify which part of our answer needs correction in spite of us asking that multiple times.
It is possible (our guess) that they want us to label our app as an app meant for "dating/sexual-relationships" while responding to the questionnaire because it also hosts chat rooms. However our app is NOT meant for either dating or sexual-relationships.
Our app is a social networking app and hosting WhatsApp like functionalities in addition to games and chat rooms. We had asked them to add an option of saying YES to having chat rooms in our app, in the questionnaire and we agreed to say YES to it. In response to that they simply rejected our appeal and banned our app.
I got my refund. You guys have really helped me when I needed it the most! Thanks again for your help :-)
