Rahul Sharma - Olx Scam of 36 thousands Rupees

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to report a distressing incident regarding a recent transaction on your platform, which unfortunately resulted in me being scammed for a considerable amount of money.
On March **, I posted an advertisement on OLX for selling a laptop. Shortly after, I was contacted by an individual who expressed interest in purchasing the laptop. We negotiated the price, and eventually, I agreed to sell the laptop for ** thousand INR. We communicated solely through the OLX messaging system.
Following our agreement, the buyer requested that we conduct the transaction through an online payment platform, which I trusted at the time. Regrettably, I proceeded with the transaction as instructed, believing it to be a secure method of payment.
After transferring the ownership of the laptop to the buyer, I soon discovered that the payment I received was fraudulent, and the funds were never actually deposited into my account. Despite numerous attempts to contact the buyer, they have since disappeared, and I have been unable to recover the laptop or the money.
This experience has been extremely distressing, and I am deeply disappointed by the lack of security measures in place to prevent such incidents on your platform. As a loyal user of OLX, I have always trusted the platform for facilitating safe and reliable transactions. However, this incident has shattered my confidence in the platform's ability to protect its users from fraudulent activities.
