Olx fraud - OLX fraud

We posted our old furniture ad on OLX for sale, immediately we got a message from Vikash Patel for the contact details.

We shared the number and got a call from **********. He agreed to buy the furniture at the price that we posted.

He claimed to be an old furniture buyer having office in Andheri. He also informed that they will pick up the furniture from our house tomorrow.

Once the deal was confirmed, he said will pay us the part amount as the advance through Google pay / Phone Pay / Paytm which we asked for **% advance of *****/-

For trial he shared a QR code of Rs * so that we have the confirmation of the account transfer. Then they sent us the QR code of Rs ****/- which we scanned and the amount got debited from our account. He asked to scan scan it again so that the amount can be credited to our account.

In total *****/- was debited from my account.
We received the QR code for *****/- and at that time we got suspicious about the transaction and we stopped at that time.

We got a call from HDFC Bank about the suspicious transaction and they freezed my account.

Then they shared several QR codes of refund money from **********#paytm in the name of Vinay Singh.

To verify their authenticity they shared the Aadhar Card of Ravikumar Prajapati which had the address of Rajasthan and immediately deleted the message from WhatsApp.
