Ola cab company - OLA charged extra money

This is regarding the complaint against the driver for charged huge amount from me.
Jan ** at around **:** PM I traveled from airport to my home. I reached pick up point nearby me and requested them to book a cab for me. They have booked a cab for me and i got the driver details. when i contacted the driver he said he is on the way to the pickup point, but after in a couple of minutes he said it was cancelled. then instead of booking from their app i thought i will book myself for cab and i tried booking micro. But it was booked mini cab for me that is sedan. But suddenly it was also cancelled and keep on fetching the driver details and failed to get the cab and displayed like 'Share the ola OTP with driver who come first at the pickup point'. So i waited over pick point for almost ** minutes then I got a cab.

I started from airport, Driver started talking with me. driver keep on talking with me and saying that 'Sir, have you booked a sudden booking?. i didn't understood what is mean by sudden booking. I said the above situation. so he said, sir your two bookings cancelled and this is the third one nothing but sudden booking. and due to which i had to come for you and i had to pay XXX rupees extra for you. I did not ask anything he always remembering the same thing to me. and at toll gate again he asked me 'do you have XX or XX rupees?. i said yes. then he passed through toll gate and took XX rupees from me. I thought i can settle the amount once get down from the cab.

I reached the destination and amount charged XXX rupees from ola app. so have given XXXX rupees to him. then slowly he asked XXX rupees more. I said it is showing XXX only. Then he again started saying that i paid extra money at entrance of airport so you have to pay the amount. I said tollgate amount and any extra amount if any will also include in the final amount. so i don't pay any extra amount but he denied and started arguing with me that i have to pay
It is already *:** PM in the night. I don't want to argue with him. so i paid the extra amount as he demanded.

The total amount from OLA system shown XXX which includes toll gate XX/- and XXX some extra charges. But he demanded XXXX as total amount.

I tried to raise a complaint against driver from app, I navigate to support--> driver related -->My driver requested extra amount-->driver demanded extra cash option. but there is no way to submit the issue. I tried with customer care number *** **** ** **/**. But none of the number is answered. I thought to post a mail, and posted to security@olacabs.com but there is not response from them.


In nutshell, it is difficult for someone to handled such situations without any support from service provider. Driver feels that they are not monitored for any such actions they do with the customers. Because of which they are sometimes rude and make argue with customers for their benefit.
