Dr Padma Borgohain filed complaint against Byjus Company on Jul 13, 2021
I want to lodge a complain against Byjus company for The following reasons-
*. Not responding our request for cancellation of Byjus online learning programme inspite of our several request by mails and phone calls for cancellation .
*. Harassing us by calling several times in a day to deposit EMI .Issue of EMI should not arise after intimation of cancellation from our side on time (within ** days) as they mentioned that we can cancel the product within ** days after receiving the course materials.
We were convinced to take Byjus online learning programme for our child (Abhinab Borgohain) by their mentor on online meeting .They offered us trial classes. Their mentor asked to do the formalities by signing few forms online to get the course material and offered a loan from their side(which may be cancelled if we do not like the course,they also made us sign an E-mandate registration for EMI .Mentor informed us that if we are not satisfied with the trial classes we can cancel the programme within ** days after receiving the materials.Accordingly we did the initiation for cancellation from May ** trough mails and phone calls .On one mail they replied that the cancellation is in process but no confirmation about the cancellation is given till date .So, we contacted them several times ,but every time they informed us that we will enquire and call back after **-**mins.The same answer is given everytime on each calls ,(we contacted them many times) .
We are getting calls from their finance team several times in a day for paying the EMI which is very disturbing in my Professional life during COVID related duties.
