Hello,
I purchased a sofa-cum-bed from The Maple Tree website (https://themapletree.in) on August **th for Rs. **,***.
I received an email with order number #****, confirming delivery by September *st, ****.
A few days later, I tried reaching out to the vendor for an update on the delivery. However, all their communication channels listed on their website and Facebook were unresponsive. Upon checking their Facebook page, I found several reviews claiming they take orders without delivering the products.
Below is the timeline of events:

- Purchased a sofa-cum-bed from *The Maple Tree* website for Rs. **,***.
- Payment was processed through Bank credit card (transaction via M/s. ING FX MART PVT. LTD.).
- Received an order confirmation (Order #****) via email with delivery promised by September *, ****.

- Tried contacting the vendor for an update on delivery, but received no response from any communication channels listed on the website or social media.

- Found multiple negative reviews on the vendor's Facebook page, indicating similar issues where customers placed orders but never received their products.

- After several days of attempts, the vendor finally responded on WhatsApp, claiming a delay due to labor issues. They promised delivery by September *, ****.

- Despite the new delivery date, the vendor missed both the original and the revised delivery dates.
- Calls and messages were left unanswered.

- Continued efforts to contact the vendor via phone, WhatsApp, and Facebook went unanswered.
- Discovered another review on their Facebook page, indicating that another customer faced a similar issue and hadn’t received their product for over five months.
The vendor consistently failed to respond via phone, email, and social media, making it extremely difficult to get updates on the delivery.
The vendor’s promises of delivery have been repeatedly postponed without valid reasons or proper updates.
Multiple reviews on social media indicate that this vendor regularly takes payments but does not deliver products.
The vendor’s behavior—procrastinating and providing vague assurances—raises suspicion that they may attempt to avoid fulfilling the order once the payment has been processed.
