I booked jungle camping at Matheran through HireACamp on ** January and paid ₹*,*** (**% advance) for * people.
On ** January, I did not receive any booking confirmation. When I contacted their customer support, I was informed that my booking was on hold due to hygiene and toilet cleanliness complaints at the campsite. I was pushed to opt for an alternative package, which I declined.
I requested cancellation and refund. Their executive confirmed on call that the refund was initiated and assured that the amount would be credited within * working days. I have call recordings of this confirmation.
Despite repeated follow-ups, daily calls, and an email sent ** days ago, no refund has been credited till date. They repeatedly state that refund is initiated but fail to provide any transaction reference number, and no senior has contacted me as promised.
This is a clear case of paid amount not refunded, deficiency in service, and unfair trade practice. I request immediate intervention to obtain my refund of ₹*,*** at the earliest.
