Puranik Builders - No refund for booking amount from Puraniks

I visited Puranik Builders office in Thane near Havare City on **nd November, **** for the new construction named "Tokyo Bay" and was greeted by Ashutosh Gaikwad, who provided us information about the various features and gave us a demo of the sample flats. But we did not like the concept of small rooms with a much smaller kitchen.
We informed this to Ashutosh, but he was of the opinion that since the flat was not ready yet it would look more appropriate to pay the down payment of INR * Lakh and visit us again when the flat is ready as it will look more good. Since we just wanted to visit and view the flat we were not carrying that kind of cash with us. He then spoke to someone over the phone and informed us that his supervisor has suggested to pay the token amount of INR **,*** which will be refundable if we wish to cancel the booking. After much persuasion from him and the promise to refund token amount, I paid it through my Citibank credit card. I discussed the idea of moving to Thane, closer to my office (TCS) but the same was not approved by my family members as they did not want to move away from relatives staying in Mira Road (I originally stay in Mira Road East) and hence I sent a cancellation email on **th December, **** to (ashutosh.gaikwad@puraniks.co) for which there was no reply at all.
I spoke to Ashutosh and he explained me that his no-name supervisor’s have denied returning the money as they do not agreed of the reason given by me for the cancellation. Also Ashutosh for the first time mentioned that the cancellation was to be done only if the loan was not possible, this was never conveyed to us. He suggested me to send another email with the reason that I want to cancel booking as it is not feasible for me to have multiple loans and the same was sent on *th and *th January, ****. But there has been no reply from him since. He does not answer any calls or messages either.
I am currently paying interest on the amount paid as token money through my credit card and at loss of words the way this issue is being handled as there were calls made to me from mobile# +** ********** twice with assurance that they will have their senior supervisor’s call me urgently to take care of this issue. But no one has ever called me back.
