Dear Customer Service:
This is regarding FTTH phone number ****-**** in Sector **, Nilgiri, Vashi ******. MTNL has not given credit for any of the days when there was no internet service, no phone service, & wrong modem provided. The details are in the email copies attached & the complaint letter personally handed at the DGM Vashi office. Complaints were lodged promptly at the MTNL Mumbai website with docket numbers. Emails were also sent to aotrnrl@gmail.com & to the DGM Office – Vashi dgmvashinm@gmail.com. All the documents are attached. Despite numerous emails & docket numbers , no credit has been given on the bill.
BILL CREDIT SHOULD BE GIVEN FOR THE FOLLOWING
No FTTH & Phone Service from May * to May *, **** (*days)
No FTTH service on January * & *, **** (* days)
No phone service January * & * (* days)
Frequent disconnection of FTTH service, slow speed, no Wi-Fi on mobile even in the same room as the modem (complaint was lodged on MTNL Mumbai website). Please give credit for those days.
Instead of VDSL Wi-Fi modem, ADSL modem with no Wi-Fi capability was given for ** months. The speed was very slow because the ADSL modem capacity was limited (Please see emails in attached document for details).
I was paying for a VDSL Wi-Fi modem & speed of **mbps download & ** mbps upload for ** months. However, the modem I was provided was an old model ADSL modem without Wi-Fi capability & the maximum speed that old model ADSL modem could provide was ** mbps download & four mbps upload as verified by MTNL technicians who visited my residence to check the modem. This was less than half the speed I was paying for. In addition, I had to pay Airtel Rs. *** a month for Wi-Fi services. (Complaint letter personally handed to DGM office on January **, ****attached)
Somebody had called on Dec **, **** stating that a credit of Rs. *,*** would be given in the February **** bill (this is just for the wrong modem for ten months). There was no credit on that bill. I request you to see attached documents & give the credit. The docket numbers are also in the attached documents.
This is very poor customer service by MTNL. After lodging complaints promptly & sending numerous emails, credit has not been given for any of the above dates. The people at the DGM –Vashi office keep changing, the people handling the complaints keep changing & the new person who comes in does not take any action. I am told that the person who should be contacted for credits now is Mr. Dilip Drode. He is the current DGM – Vashi Office. An SMS was sent to him several days back but I have not received any response.
